Sussex IM Wins In-Mold Decorating Association Award for Innovative In-Mold Labeling Application on New HEINZ Keystone 3.0 Dispenser

This award highlights Sussex IM’s commitment to delivering advanced decoration techniques that enhance product durability, customization, and brand identity.
The HEINZ Keyst
one 3.0 Dispenser, designed for high-traffic environments such as stadiums and large events, required a robust and visually appealing labeling solution. By leveraging the power of In-Mold Labeling, Sussex IM was able to work with Inkworks Printing to provide a durable, chemical-resistant label that withstands frequent use and cleaning while offering the flexibility for easy graphic updates.

Sussex IM’s in-house automation team played a crucial role in the success of this project, developing a precise system to pick and place multiple, large, in-mold labels into the mold during production. The successful application of different-sized labels to the three-sided dispenser was a key innovation, allowing for smooth production runs and flawless integration of the IML design.
